Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for Union employees accurately and in a timely manner - Maintain and update employee payroll records where necessary - Calculate and process deductions, taxes, and garnishments relative to weekly payroll - Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters - Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues - Prepare and submit payroll reports to management - Process weekly certified payroll reports including entry into 3rd party system Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role including knowlege of prevailing wage and certified payroll - Knowledge of payroll systems and ProContractor software - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent data entry skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications - Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies or errors - Strong organizational and time management skills - Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll processing - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Please submit your resume along with a cover letter detailing your relevant experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
