At Pacific Outdoor Living, we're seeking a Human Resources Recruiter.
He/she will work on a few main duties such as conducting a high number of interviews, new hire orientations, and preparing training lineups.
A qualified recruiter will work well in a fast-paced environment, be innovative when it comes to filling challenging positions, and have strong multi-tasking skills.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
-Collaborate with the HR department to fully understand hiring needs and follow recruitment strategies that align with the company's objectives and values.
-Utilize various channels such as social media, professional networks, referrals, job-seeking platforms, etc.
to identify and attract candidates.
-Schedule, conduct, and coordinate interviews and follow-ups with key executives -Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates throughout the hiring process.
-Stay informed on industry best practices, trends, and compensation benchmarks to guide effective recruitment strategies.
-Provide regular recruitment metrics to track key performance indicators, evaluate recruitment efforts, and suggest improvements.
-Provide a financial report on recruitment spending.
-Ensure new hires have the necessary technology and physical supplies needed to begin.
-Conduct new hire orientations.
-Daily reporting and weekly target setting -Assisting with additional requests as delegated by management.
-Cross-training on other HR dept functions CAPABILITIES/KEY COMPETENCIES:
-Exceptional communication skills with an ability to build rapport with applicants and provide support during the onboarding process.
-Capable of crafting well-written business correspondence with precise spelling and grammar, including job descriptions, job postings and offer letters.
-Tolerance for the unexpected, and the ability to navigate priorities through a busy day.
-Adept at Time Management with good organizational skills -Fast and accurate typist (40-65wpm) -Proficient in Microsoft Office EDUCATION &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is mostly a desk job.
As such you will be required to stand, walk, and sit.
We do have 1 flight of stairs and no elevator.
Potential to have to bend and/or lift up to 20 lbs.
