Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and in a timely manner - Maintain payroll records and ensure they are up to date - Calculate and process deductions, taxes, and garnishments - Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements - Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters - Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data - Assist with payroll tax filings and reporting requirements - Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Generate reports on payroll expenses, hours worked, and other related data
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role - Proficient in using payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian - Understanding of technical accounting concepts and procedures - Knowledge of governmental accounting regulations is a plus - Experience in corporate accounting is preferred We offer a competitive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental & vision insurance, paid holidays, sick days/time, vacation, 401k participation and direct deposit.
