Customer Service Representative Numatic Engineering

Numatic Engineering, a division of Motion Industries, is an Industrial Distributor of automation control components and services. We are seeking a candidate with the experience in the following technology:
Pneumatic lines include SMC (valves, cylinders, electric actuation, filters, regulators, slides, vacuum products, fittings, tubing etc.). Bimba and TRD cylinders and accessories. 8020 Aluminum Extrusion. Enidine - industrial shock absorption technologies such as shock absorbers, industrial air bags, air springs. Proportion Air proportional regulators.
Electronic automation including Yaskawa ? variable frequency drives (VFD's), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), Human Machine Interface (HMI's) - touch screens, graphical interface. Phoenix Contact - power supplies, terminal blocks, contactors. Yamaha robots. Balluff sensors. Universal Robots and robot accessories.
Responsibilities:
Process customer requests for quotations
Process customer requests for technical help with our products and aid the customer in making the correct choices for their application.
Process customer orders accurately, efficiently to meet all the customer and NE's needs
Aid customers in following up on their requests and orders.
Form quality relationships with our customers based on excellent service, trust, integrity and follow through skills.
Aid Outside Sales with identifying part numbers from technical descriptions, producing price quotes at their direction, researching solutions with their guidance.
Facilitate the movement of product from the manufacturer to end user whilst meeting the needs of the end customer, manufacturer and NE.
Qualifications:
Proven customer service skills in a sales/distribution environment
Understand what is involved with distribution - buying from manufacturer and selling to end customer?understand list, discount, cost and margin
Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn, retain and use technical information on our product lines and be able to access, understand and use reference materials, website, manuals etc. to locate answers.
Must have a "customer service" mentality. Outgoing, upbeat personality.
Great telephone CS skills, excellent communication skills, preferably easily understood on the phone (no heavy accents - although bi-lingual Spanish would be a plus).
Good written communication skills - must be able to write emails covering a range of information and express themselves concisely, clearly and with good grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Computer skills - must be competent in Word, Internet, email
We will prioritize candidates that can show medium to advanced Excel skills
At least 30 wpm with good 10-key
Must be organized and efficient
Must be reliable, self-motivated and self-directed - will not be micro-managed but needs to achieve their workload efficiently and effectively
Fast learner
Must have a positive, "can do" attitude and have a genuine need to help people

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
