Aircraft Records Analyst I - (HI11300)

Hawker Pacific Aerospace is seeking an Aircraft Records Analyst I to support the Aircraft Records Department. Selected applicant will perform detailed and complex inspection of piece parts and complete assemblies; responsible for maintaining all aircraft records documentation.
An Aircraft Records Technician may be assigned to one or more departments depending upon the company needs at the time.
Essential Duties:
This individual has the responsibility and authority to carry out assigned task. May be assigned some or all duties indicated below depending on job progression level.
1. Perform inspection of components and assemblies; verify that all necessary documentation accompanies the work package and is properly filed.
2. Confirm adherence to assembly and test procedures. Apply established overhaul standards and practices.
3. Initiate rework orders and corrective action requests. Recommend process improvements and methods of cost savings. Support the analysis of warranty and field returns.
4. Performs return to service functions.
5. Responsible for the efficient and accurate collection, sorting, reviewing, analyzing, organizing, updating, filing and maintaining of all aircraft records documentation during an overhaul/repair process.
6. Responsible for "Back to Birth" traceability check for exchange, as well as closed loop events (if applicable).
7. Resolve traceability gaps with OEM and/or customer.
8. Prepare and finalize timely Overhaul/Repair documentation package.
9. Process and maintain accurate safe life for as per Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) or customer requirements.
10. Approve life limited replacement/swap request from Program Engineering, as well as documentation guidance for strategic surplus purchases.
11. Examine and check forms, records, reports, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
12. Keep abreast of the latest changes, i.e. AD Notes, Airworthiness Limitation revisions, and company programs.
13. Provide technical training on "Back to Birth" for applicable departments.
14. Responsibility to work with LEAN Manufacturing principles.
15. Performs other duties as required by business needs.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Repairman certificate required, A&P license desired
Minimum of six (6) months to two (2) years experience in the aviation industry.
This position may require use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or both. U.S. Person preferred. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
